Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York, New York U.S.A. is an American actor who has a reputation for playing strong but vulnerable character. Linney was born into an theatre-loving family, with her father Romulus Linney was a playwright. Linney received her degree from Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow as well as graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City was her first stop in 1990. She was in New York City when she began in her Broadway career. The audience praised her for her performances in both Hedda Gabrieller as well as Six Degrees of Separation.
